Jarvis Cocker
It seems it's impossible to mention Jarvis Cocker without also mentioning his former band, brit-pop saviours Pulp, so we'll try not to. Fat Children is one of hardest Jarvis has ever rocked, both musically and lyrically in this political tale of being mugged. Evoking the gritty sounds of a punkier Kasabian or Arctic Monkeys, it's a thrilling highlight from Jarvis.

The Black Seeds
Here comes some great Reggae from the home of Reggae itself - er... New Zealand. The Black Seeds have been around for around 10 years and gone double platinum back home (we're not sure if this includes sales to sheep too), so we thought they might be quite good. Turns out they are very good indeed; In The Dojo sees traditional reggae thrown into a blender with some almost RnB-like modern production. Perfectly chilled and totally cool.

Your English Is Good is a more melodic development from the whirlwind fifteen minute sprint that was their A Lesson In Crime EP. A politically charged riot, it's getting us very very excited about their forthcoming debut - we've made this our new ringtone (and it was even the first track we played on our first ever Wippit Subscriber Podcast).
