When we woke up last Monday morning and saw on the BBC that we'd signed The Beatles we knew it was going to be a tough week. We just were happy enough to be listening to Hayseed Dixie's cover of the latest Scissor Sisters hit, I Don't Feel Like Dancing in our straw hats as we do every Monday, and then four Brazilian reporters and one Vietnamese came knocking on the door demanding to know more. We said nothing. We knew that Walk This Way was next on the playlist. But we also knew we were on to something big...

"This little known pop combo from the North of England really made news last week when it was announced that a deal had been struck to offer the 'Fab Four' through 'download pioneers' Wippit. Not being accustomed to such attention the boys made no comment and let Wippit's experienced PR crew face the music. Midas

They write fast-paced songs about teenage life in the West Midlands, but Midas add their own special touch to the mix in their infectious latest single. The band have been gigging like crazy recently (with Shiny Toy Guns amongst others) and although they're still unsigned they look set to be one of the top indie bands of 2007, so take a listen.
