Billy Bragg - Box Set Volume 1

only! From the album 'Brewing Up With Billy Bragg' included in the box
set.
The one-time Bard of Barking was like a lone voice of sanity crying
out in the wilderness of the 1980s. Armed with just a guitar and
fuelled by the working class indignation of long-time hero Woody
Guthrie and the righteous anger of The Clash, Bragg’s humanity rarely
lapsed into empty hectoring as he tackled personal and social politics
with warmth and cutting humour. Four of his earliest albums – Life’s A
Riot With Spy Vs Spy, Brewing up With Billy Bragg, Talking To the
Taxman About Poetry and Internationale / Live & Dubious are released
on March 6th as part of the superb Billy Bragg Volume 1 box set.
Comprised of seven CDs and two DVDs, this collection also includes a
wealth of rare and unreleased material and a unique booklet.
