On her new album Volta, in a typically unpredictable twist that popular chap Timbaland has joined the party to bring a more mainstream edge to Bjork's ever-quirky style on 3 tracks, and Antony from Antony and the Johnsons joins in the fun on Dull Flame of Desire and My Juvenile. The instrumentation is just as wacky and varied as ever - it featuring a ten-piece-all-female-and-Icelandic brass section, and a variety of typically obscure instruments like koras and pipas. Volta may not be one put on as you doze off, but it's a thrilling album from a true innovator. Smokin' Aces

What happens when a Las Vegas magician turns snitch on the Mob? Ray Liotta and Ben Affleck turn up to serve justice, that's what. Only in this flick Ben is a baddie and Liotta is on the right side of the law. Fans of Entourage will love seeing Jeremy 'Ari Gold' Piven giving a sleaze driven performance as the supergrass going nuts in Tahoe and carving out his niche as 'best choice for sleazeball' among Hollywood casting directors. Action packed, smart and witty Smokin' Aces is a perfect Friday night movie (that you can watch again on your Zen Vision on the way to work on Monday).
